2-Hour Snowmobile Adventure
Welcome to a snowy adventure in Lapland! Join us for a two-hour snowmobile safari and learn the basics of snowmobiling under the guidance of a professional guide. One of the highlights of the safari is riding across a frozen winter lake, where you can enjoy the thrill of snowmobiling surrounded by beautiful Arctic scenery.
Whether you are a first-time rider or already have some experience, this safari offers a safe and exciting way to experience snowmobiling in Ranua, Lapland.
The tour includes:
Winter clothing
Safety briefing and instructions on how to operate the snowmobile
Guided snowmobile safari
Hot drink
Important information:
The snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Category B driving licence.
The driver’s liability for damage to the snowmobile is €980 per driver, per accident. By purchasing an optional €50 reduced-liability cover before the safari, the liability is reduced to €150.
Children under 15 years old travel in a sled pulled by the guide.
Meeting point:
Lupland Adventures tours depart from Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos, Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
If needed, we can also arrange pickup from Ranua Resort Arctic Igloos reception or Ranua Resort Safari Lodge. Please let us know about your pickup request well in advance.
Alcohol policy:
We have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol when operating a snowmobile. A participant who is under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to drive a snowmobile, and the snowmobile activity will be cancelled for that participant without a refund.
If there is any doubt about a participant’s ability to drive safely, sobriety may be verified using a breathalyzer.
